My Video Production Editing Mindset
Often when I'm assigned a project, I visually imagine the objective then plan my gear accordingly. One of the things I also plan would be how I'm planning on editing it which enables me to shoot what I do with confidence.
Being a shooter and an editor means I know exactly what TO shoot and what NOT to shoot, because I envision the end result and what it needs, thus efficient.
I'm overjoyed in my achievement of getting past the Davinci Resolve Studio 20 learning curve and have replaced it as my main NLE software, and enjoying ALL the exciting new editing options this professional software provides.
